Mi99 MARY WALKER ROGER has been Games and Gymnastics Mistre sa in this school since Sept. 1929.

A Junior Form Mistress has assisted her with Netball and Tennis, but otherwise, she has been responsible for the Physical Training of 420 girls.

(a) in the Gymnasium for Swedish Exercises and Apparatus.

(b) in the Grounds for Hockey, Netball, Cricket, Tennis and

Country Dance a.

She has also taken a short class daily for Remedial Exercises.

Miss Roger is entirely fitted by birth and education for the profession that she ha a adopted, and she has left nothing undone to qualify herself by education and experience for her work.

She remained at School to the Higher Certificate standard and has had varied and well chosen experience in private and public schools.

Miss Roger brings freshness, enthusiasm and zest to all her work, and the children respond with keenness in work, and circum- spection in deportment. In the Gymnasium, good alert work is done and no time is wasted. In Game 8, she is a careful coach. practising fundamental movements with beginners, and coaching teams with skill.

Her personality insures respect, and her influence has been felt for good on the conduct of the girls throughout the buildings and the grounds.

She has given ungrudgingly of "out of school" time to the conduct of matohea, here and away, and has given valuable help with sick or injured children.

Miss Roger has won the respect and affection of the Staff and my own confidence. It is with deepest regret that I learn that she must seek work nearer home and I entirely sympathise with her In such abnormal times it appears reasons for taking this step. unpreventable.

I shall be happy to answer any questions upon her behalf.

(Signed) JANET M. GORDON, (M.A. Oxon).

Headmistresa, Woodford County High School.
