Members are advised that the next meeting of the

Committee will probably be held on Friday, the 1st July, at

The Agenda will include the following matters:-

(a) Deepening of Hong-Kong Harbour, in regard to which

the Colonial Office have asked for the observations of the Committee.

(b) The inclusion of Halifax and Saint John in the

North Atlantic Range of grain chartering ports; the authorities at these ports have again approached the Committee on this question, which was the subject of a Report by the Committee in 1929 (Report on Certain questions Relating to the Shipment of Grain through the Canadian Ports of Halifax, N.S. and Saint John, N.B. Cmd. 3345).

(c) Supply of electricity to ships in port. The
