We beg to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of

the 12th inst. with the enclosures referred to thore in
relative to the provision of facilities to enable the members
or the wireless taff of the Hong Kong Government to obtain
information when on leave as to the latest developments in
wireless tel:rophy.

In the despatch received from the Colony we note that
it is suggested that a course of one month t the Karooni
Company's Werke or at their training college at Chelmsford

3. This enquiry has an indirect connection with a letter
dated the 11th May, 1931, addressed to you by M. King, the
Government Electrical ngineer, Hong Kong, when he was last
on leave in England, and referred to us on the 21st May,
1931, under papers M/J.A.800. In discussing this matter
with Mr. King on the 3th June, 1931, he stated that as a
