employed by the Hong Kong Society
for protection of children, but their
duties are not confined to the inspection
of registered mui
mui tsai. It is understood
that a number of Inspectors is also employed
by other unofficial bodies, such as the
Anti- Mui-Tsai Society, the Po Leung Kuk,etc.
(3). No steps have been taken to
register adopted daughters, but under
the law of Hong Kong/ the onus is placed
on the adopter of showing that the girl
muistsai.

Courts to say whether such a transaction
was illegal under Section 3 of Ordinance
