23. Where the nuisance proved to exist is such as to render a hibition and

all due diligence to carry out such order, shall be liable to a penalty not
exceeding ten dollars per day, during his default ; and any person know
ingly and wilfully acting contrary to an order of prohibition , shall be
liable to a penalty not exceeding twenty- five dollars per day, during such
contrary action ; moreover, the Board may enter the premises to which
any order relates , and abate the nuisance, and do whatever may be neces
sary in execution of such order, and recover, in a summary manner , the
expenses incurred by them from the person on whom the order is made .
25. Any member, or officer of the Board duly authorised by the Seizure of

sale or preparation for sale, or for the storage of food, to inspect and
examine any food found therein which he shall have reason to believe is
intended to be used as human food, and, in case any such food appear to
such member or officer to be unfit for such use, he may seize the same,
and the Board may order it to be destroyed or to be so disposed of as to
prevent it from being used as human food.
