An Ordinance to apply a sum not exceeding Nine hundred and Forty
nine thousand, and Sixty -one Dollars to the Public Service of the
Year 1885.

HEREAS the expenditure required for the service of this Colony for the year.
W 1885 has been estimated at the sum of nine hundred and forty-nine thousand ,
and sixty-one dollars : Be it enacted by the Governor of Hongkong, with the advice of
the Legislative Council thereof, as follows :
:
1. A sum not exceeding nine hundred and forty-nine thousand, and sixty- one
dollars shall be, and the same is hereby charged upon the revenue of this Colony for
service of the year 1885 , and the said sum so charged may be expended as hereinafter
specified that is to say :
