consideration of the Government of Trinidad, and we
enclose a copy of it which may be of interest to the
Government of Hong Kong. If this proposal is adopted,
the specific ordinance authorising the actual loan or
loans might be in such a form as will permit of the
money being raised either in the Colony or in this
country as may be found most advantageous at the time
Any part raised in London would be issued
under the provisions of the General Loan and Inscribed
Stock Ordinance and any part issued in the Colony
would be under the provisions of the new General Local
Loans Ordinance.
