(e) To form an organisation (to be called The General Committee) for the purpose of administering and managing the moneys, property, undertaking and affairs of the Company and to restrict the membership of such organisation to the following per-

sons:

(i) A Chairman and President of the Company nominated by the Gover- nor of the Colony of Hong Kong. (ii) A representative of the Govern- ment of Hong Kong nominated by the Governor of the Colony of

Hong Kong.

(iii) A representative of the Royal Air Force who shall be the Senior Commissioned Officer for the time. being in command of the Royal Air Force, Hong Kong, or such other commissioned officer as shall be nominated by him.

(iv) A representative of the Royal Navy nominated by the Naval Commander-in-Chief of the China

Station.

(v) A representative of His Majesty's Army nominated by the General Officer Commanding the Troops in China.

(vi) A Captain elected yearly at each annual general meeting by the members of the Company out of the general body thereof.

(vii) Six members of the Company elected yearly at each annual general meeting by the members of

the Company out of the general body thereof.

(viii) An Honorary Secretary nominated annually by the General Committee. (ix) A paid treasurer nominated from time to time by the General Committee.

(f) To manage, administer and control the moneys, property, undertaking and affairs, and manage the business of the Club under the absolute control and direction of the General Committee for the time being thereof.

(g) To promote and engage in every kind of sport and games and to encourage and promote social intercourse in the Colony of Hong Kong.

(h) To construct, maintain, and alter any build- ings or works, necessary or convenient for the purposes of the Company.

(i) Generally to purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire, any real and personal property and any rights or privileges which the Company may think necessary or convenient for the purposes of its business and in particular any land, buildings, easements, machinery, plant and stock-in-trade.

(j) To carry on the business of a social and flying club in all its branches and in particular to lay out and prepare any lands for the purposes of flying and the holding of any kinds of sports or games and for the drilling or reviewing of troops and to construct any buildings and other erections
