Licence to Dispense with the word
"Limited."
WH HEREAS it has been proved to my satisfaction that THE HONG KONG FLYING CLUB, which is about to be registered under the Companies Ordinances, 1911-1929, as an association limited by guarantee, is about to be formed for the purpose of promoting a useful object or objects of the nature contemplated by the 21st section of the Companies Ordinance, 1911, and that such association intends to apply its profits (if any) or other income in promoting its objects as set forth in the Memorandum of Association of the said Club, and to prohibit the payment of any dividend to its members:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR CECIL CLEMENTI, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, the Governor of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, in pursuance of powers vested in me by the 21st section of the Companies Ordinance, 1911, do by this my Licence direct that THE HONG KONG FLYING CLUB be registered as a company with limited liability without the addition of the word "Limited" to its name.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony at Victoria in the Colony of Hong Kong this FOURTEENTH day of January, 1930.
