The new Government House would be continued and the Colonial
Secretariat and P.W.D.will vacate their old Offices for the new
temporary Offices (now completed) and other accommodation.
The preparation of the W. end of Section A and the whole of
Section B is now rendercä possible by the vacation of the old build-
ings above and these Sections should be completed during the year.
A new Volunteer Headquarters should also be built during
this year.
1935

The New Government House would be completed during this year and a
commencement would be made on the new and permanent Government
Offices. The preparation of Section C would also be done during
this year.
1936
Sale of Section C. The new Government Offices would be
continued and the preparation of Section D would be commenced and
completed.
1937
1938
Sale of Section D. The new Government Offices would be
continued and the preparation of Section E would be commenced.
This year would mark the end of the scheme by the
completion of the New Government Offices, the completion of the preparation of section E and its sale and by the sale and by the sale of the temporary Government Offices building.
It will be seen from a perusal of the balance sheet that a final credit balance of about 7 million dollars is anticipated
and that in addition to this large amount the erection of a new
Government House, new Government Offices and new Volunteer Head- quarters has been accomplished whilst the general lay-out of the City with wider roads and better communication has been much
improved.
There are some minor details in the scheme which are not yet completely solved and the execution of it cannot fail to lead to some temporary inconvenience to Departments but the scheme as a whole is of such importance from a financial point of view that these minor points bear no comparison to the final result.
