Readership had better be regarded as temporarily, at least, in
abeyance.
I have only just got back from a two months' holiday
in Japan and the University's autumn session does not open till
next week. As soon as the University Authorities have decided
on the policy with reference to the future teaching of Chinese, I
will write again.
