With reference to the second paragraph of
your despatch No.401 of the 5th November, 1932, on
the subject of the Foreshores and Seabed Amendment
Ordinance, 1932, I have the honour to enclose a
copy of a memorandum by Mr. H. K. Holmes, Crown
Solicitor, dealing with the point raised in your
despatch.
2. That part of Section 5 of Ordinance No.15
of 1901 which has been repealed by the amending
Ordinance appears to belong more appropriately to
the Fiers Ordinance No. 11 of 1899 and its insertion
in that Ordinance will be considered when a
suitable opportunity occurs.
