Crown Leases in Hong Kong have been issued

for 75 years with a right of renewal for a

further term of 75 years, and it seems most

undesirable that in any circumstances the

Crown should now begin again to issue Leases

for 999 years.

I do not think the Section

holders will be treated ungenerously on that

basis, and I think we should suggest it to

the Hong Kong Government.
