It appears kr. Ross, that the promissory note system does not merely apply to the $9,000.00 but does apply to the second call. promissory note applies to the 5.
My Lord, sundry reference have been made to the instone Trading Company, I do not understand its connection with the Bank. The evidence is placed in this position, t that one item $405,000.00 appears as a debt to the Instone Banking Corporation, in re- spect of certain shares held by Mrs. Brewer in trustee for certain persons who have not yet been named, that item appears on the books and it was cancelled on the 21st of April, 1928. On that day the sum of $405, 000.00 was shewn as a cash payment in re- spect of that figure made on that day by Mrs. Brewer, and on the other side an entry of even date, an acquisition of shares by the Bank in the Instone Trading Company.

I have not seen any application form, my Lord, and was not among the application forms when I took over
It has been stated that Ars, Brewer held certain shares as trustee for certain peo plewho were expected to apply for them. is there any record of their names?. No.
There were certain persons in Pekin who were expected to apply for these shares but I have not their names.
I think he might say what happened to these shares Mrs. Brewer had.
Mrs. Brewer's shares were sold on an agre e- ment to the Instone Trading Company, and it was the result of thés transfer that the Instone Banking Corporation became a share- holder in the Instone rading Comapny. And so the Instone Trading Company became
shareholder in the Instone Bank?.
