Yes.
You found that in cases where loans were made, application letters, as in Exhibit I, we made for these loans?.
Yes, but I have not got applications for all the 1oans.
All those which you have been able to trace are on forms similar to Exhibit I ?.

Also the books show that entries for loans made and calls made in advance of capital, were made on the same day?.
Yes.
Crosa entries are on the same day?.
Yes, cross entries were made on the same day. These loans which you have told us are nearly 7 lakhs, does that include $432,000.00 to Mrs. Brewer?.

That again was a cross entry?.

And the sum of $48,000.00 paid, the original 10%?. I should rather say it was a cross transaction, that formed part of the * $67,000.00 which was to go to Mr. Brewer.

when you said that you had not all the loan applications, do you suggest that there are any missing, that remain unpaid?. Were you placed in possession of all applications that remained un-

don't know. I can't say now.
Have you checked the loans remaining unpaid, have you checked them against the loan applications, against the documents?.
No I have not checked the loans remaining unpaid against the applications for loans.
When you said you were not in receipt of all the loan applications, you did not mean it?. You do not know, you have not checked them.
I did not say I was not in receipt of all the loan applications, I said I have seen applications for certain of these loans, but I have not seen all the loans on this list.
You have seen applications for loans with certain names on them and these names do not appear in the transactions of the bank?.
All the names are on this list, but there are others also on the list.
Is that a Bank list or your own?
My own list.
All persons to whom loans have been made, all thos persons appear on the list, and you say there are other persons who applied for loans?.
