With reference to your letter No.82837/31
of the 19th August last, I am directed by the
Marquess of Reading to request that he may be
informed, if possible, of the decision reached by the
Governor of Hongkong regarding the deportation of
Nguyen ai Quoc, in order that he may be able to
return a reply to the French Ambassador's enquiry
of the 27th of July last.
