Judgment declared by Full Court on September 11th declaring Orders under section 3 (1) (c) and section 6 valid. On September 12th permission to appeal to the Privy Council was applied for and granted. Long delay will thereby be entailed
and further detention of Nguyen al Quoc (who is kept in police
custody not in gaol) for about a year.
Counsel stated in
making his application that appeal was made because of shipping
Order under section 6 and suggested ite withdrawal by
Executive and permission to applicant to leave the Colony his
own way.
