recovers the incidental expenses

of advertising and of selection

committees etc. from the Univesity

on whose behalf it is acting.

If you see no objection to

this proposal, I shall be glad if the

Council of H.K. University may be

invited to consider the suggestion

that they should recruit through

the Universities Bureau for any

future vacancies on the staff which

it may be required to fill from

this country. Should it be decided

to adopt this method of selection,

it is suggested that all correspon-

dence on the subject should take

place direct between the University

Council and the Secretary of the

Bureau, whose address is 86a Gower
