Your telegram of 29th October No.134 my despatch of 16th April No.170 was intended to obtain your approval of grant under Section 3 Foreshore Ordinance No.15 of 1901 of Lease for term of same length as nor granted for inland lot namely within ceded territory 75 years renewable for further 75, within new territory 75 years from 1st July 1898 renewable for further 24.
It was proposed to grant to Ruttonjee latter term
as lot is in new territory.
Land for Gas Company referred to in my despatch of 10th September No.386 is wholly in Kowloon proper.
