Shortly after wo were appointed we inserted notices in the European newspapers of the Colony, asking mombors of the public to como forward with, or to sond in to us in writing, recommendations and suggostions whereby oconomios might be affected in the administration of the

Government.

The response was disappointingly

meagre.

In conclusion wo dosire to place on

record our appreciation of the valuable assistance

we have received from Mr. A.W.G.H. Grantham, our

Secretary, and Miss G. Ezra, our Stenographer, as

well as from Mr. T. Dallin of the Government

Audit Department, who has been in attendance at practically all the meetings hold by us.
