Connaught Hotel,

Grosvenor Square,

W. I.

21st March 1919.

Lieut.-Colonel R. F. Drury, late of the

Royal Air Force, worked under me in various capacities

in connection with the land and buildings of the Royal

Flying Corps and Royal Air Force during the years 1916,

1917, 1918, and 1919, and I can recommend him as being

an extremely loyal and hard working subordinate.

He was at the head of a big department involving heavy

responsibilities. He worked untiringly, showed great

energy and determination in the face of every kind of

difficulty and has any amount of initiative and

resource.

W. S. Brancker.

Major-General.
