I was afraid that if I visited them without an escort,my motives might be mis undustood, but I inspected their outsins two or three times.
My conclusions were :-
(1) that the Buropean brothels an objccti, able, both on general ground & because of the aniggering onlookers who sit on the doorsteps, & that they cd easily be closed for Bwith
(2) Bat the Japanese brothels (which an Euquentled axiefly by the Merchant Service, Warrant officus & an o... -casional tourist) could be closed without difficulty for twitte.
(3) that the Chiuse brothels for the twops bued a pert & objection-
