My Lord,
In continuation of my confidential despatch
of the 27th of February, 1931 on the subject of the
proposed agreement with the Imperial and International
Communications Limited and with further reference to
the fourth paragraph of my confidential despatch of
the 29th of April, 1931, I have the honour to transmit
the enclosed copies of correspondence with the Naval
and Military authorities on the subject of the proposed
new wireless station.
2. The question of interference with the Naval
Station was included in the instructions contained in
Your Lordship's confidential telegram No.54 of the
1st of August, 1930, but the defence aspect of the
subject seems to deserve the most careful consideration
if wireless is to replace cables to any considerable
degree in the provision of vital communications.
