Having been requested by the Staff

Controller of the Imperial & International Communications

Company, to call at his office, I propose to visit

London shortly, and would respectfully request if

there are any further details concerning the agreement

between the Hong Kong Government and the Imperial &

International Communications Company, that you may

wish to discuss with me, if so I could make the one

visit to London serve both purposes.

I am leaving this address on the 2nd of

September prior to sailing from Southampton for Hong

Kong, and I am anxious to clear up all work before

the end of this month, so as to have the last few days

definitely for my own use.
