Sir,
I am directed by the Executive Committe of the
League of Nations Union to forward to you the following
resolution which was adopted at a recent meeting of the
Committee:-
"The Executive Committee of the League of
Nations Union wishes to express its
appreciation of the recent stens taken by His Majesty's Government and by the Governor of Hong-Kong to deal with the evils of the Mui Tsai system in that colony, and welcomes particularly the proposal to appoint an inspector especially for Mui Tsai. The Executive Committee trusts that the vigilance of His Majesty's Government in this connection will not be relaxed. "
