I observe that the Attorney-
General is of the opinion that the
transaction
prosecutie concerning the transfer
of the girl to the custody of Chau
Ming was probably illegal and that
a conviction would probably have been
obtained if a further charge had been
brought under Section 45 A of Ordinance
No. 2 of 1865, as amended by Ordinance
No.13of 1929. It appears to me
