Dear Calder,
In Roseway's absence on leave, I am replying
to your letter of the 5th September, No. 82766/31, on the
subject of the Hong Kong Military Contribution.
Roseway will not be back until the 21st
September, so I am afraid it will not be possible to have
the discussion during next week but Tuesday or any later
day during the week commencing 21st September will suit us.
We concur in the draft telegram enclosed with
your letter.
