Sadler,

I have your letter of the 21st of February

about the various matters arising out of the eeting

of the “ducation Committee.

On the most important question of the Hong

Kong University I am passing your letter to r. Ellis

of the Far Eastern Department, asking him to consider

it, as my connection with the question was purely

accidental.

It may be best in the first instance to

consult Sir William ornell before getting into touch

with Sir Robert io Tung. For one thing, anneala

for

the University have certainly been made to local

magnates, but we do not know how far they have gone.

I hope you will receive a further reply to

your letter before long.

Sir Robert Ho Tung is a Knight Bachelor am

not a ..'.G.

I ICHAEL SAJLA, K.J.S.I., J.b.

Yours sincerely,

lees.
