Ellis wrote to you on the 30th January
(our reference 82755/31) on the subject of the
proposed Customs agreement between Hong Kong and China. We should be glad if you could let us
have a reply as soon as possible. Nothing has
been said to Hong Kong, pending the clearing up
of the point dealt with in Ellis' letter.
