The Chinese Library.
During the year 1930, 16 sets containing 33 volumes were presented to the Library. Thus by the end of 1930, there were 928 sets in 31,044 volumes as against 912 sets in 31,011 volumes in the previous year.
The number of volumes borrowed during the year was 198. Mr. Fung Ping Shan's scheme for the new Chinese Library will be realized in the near future.
The School of Chinese Studies.
ITS BUILDING: Classes are now still held in the University lecture rooms and in the Chinese Library. Mr. Tang Chi- Ngong's Building is now in the course of construction.

The Chinese Society.
This year saw the formation of the Chinese Society whose ordinary members are to be those members of the Arts Faculty who take up Chinese in their courses of study. Several public lectures were given during the year and a journal will be issued in the near future,
