ORDER FOR TEMPORARY REMOVAL FROM PRISON.
Hong Kong :
Deportation Ordinance, 1930.
To the Superintendent of Prisons and to all the officers of the Prison Department.
Whereas it appears to the Governor to be desirable that hereinafter called the defendant, whose deportation is proposed, should be removed tempor- arily from the prison in which he is at present for purposes connected with consideration or inquiry under the Deporta- tion Ordinance, 1930:
These are therefore to authorise the Superintendent of Prisons, during the currency of this order, to allow the defendant to be removed temporarily, from any prison in which he may be, in the custody of an officer of the Prison Department, and to authorise such officer to take the defendant in custody to any place or places at the discre- tion of such officer, and to authorise the Superintendent of Prisons to receive the defendant into any prison after such temporary removal and there to detain him as pro- vided in sub-section (8) of section 8 of the said Ordinance.
