Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these presents appoint you CHARLES CORDON STEWART MACKIE provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the axecutive Conncil in the place of the Honourable Sir H. E. Pollock, K.C., who is temporarily absent from the Colony.
