PEEL, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of
Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the
Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its
Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these
presents appoint you CHARLES GORDON STEWART MACKIE
provisionally, and subject to His Majesty'a pleasure, to
be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council in
this Colony.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony, at Government House, Victoria, Hong Kong, this
