period of ten years, and negotiations shall thereupon be entered into for the purpose of effecting such
revision.
4. In case neither His Majesty nor the
President shall have given notice at least twelve
months before the expiration of the said period of
ten years of his intention to terminate the Treaty,
it shall remain in force for an additional period of
five years, and thereafter for successive periods of
five years on twelve month's notice to that effect,

The provisions of the preceding paragraph
of this Article do not apply to Article 18 of the present Treaty, which shall remain in force until terminated or replaced by the common agreement of His
Majesty and the President.
