name and address of the person for whose use the prescription is given.
(b) A prescription shall only be given by a medical practitioner when required for purposes of medical treatment.
(ii)-(a) The drug shall not be supplied more than once
on the same prescription.
(b) The prescription shall be marked with the date on which it is dispensed and shall be retained by the person by whom it is dispensed, and shall be kept on the premises where it is dis- pensed, and shall be available for inspection. (6) No person subject to this Order within the said limits shall permit any house or premises in his occupation or control to be used for the consumption or use of opium or any dangerous drug.
(7) Every person subject to this Order within the said limits who imports, exports, manufactures, buys, sells, pro- cures or deals in opium or any dangerous drug shall keep a record in the form, and within the time, pre- scribed by the High Commissioner of all opium or any dangerous drug which has come into his possession and of the manner in which the opium or drugs are disposed of.
No entry shall be made which is untrue in any par- ticular and no entry when made shall be altered, obliterated or cancelled. Any mistake in an entry shall be corrected by a marginal note or footnote giving the correct particulars and dated. (8) The records kept in pursuance of the preceding regula- tion and any stocks of opium or any dangerous drug in the possession of any person subject to this Order shall be open to inspection at any time by a person authorised in writing for the purpose by the High Commissioner.
(9) If the Court is satisfied by information on oath that there is reasonable ground for suspecting that opium or any dangerous drug is, in contravention of the provisions of the preceding paragraphs of this Article, in the possession of or under the control of any person subject to this Order in any premises of a person subject to this Order within the said limits, or that any document directly or indirectly relating to or connected with any transaction or dealing which was, or any intended transaction or dealing which would, if carried out, be an offence against the provisions of this Article or, in the case of a transaction or dealing carried out or intended to be carried out in any place outside the said limits, an offence against the provisions of any corresponding law in force in that place, is in the possession of or under the control of any person sub-

ject to this Order in any premises of a person subject to this Order within the said limits, the Court may grant a search warrant authorising any person named in the warrant at any time or times within one month from the date of the warrant, to enter if need be by force the premises named in the warrant and to search the premises and any persons subject to this Order found thereon, and if there is reasonable ground for suspect- ing that an offence against the provisions of this Article has been committed in relation to any such drugs which may be found in the premises or in the possession of any such persons, or any document which may be so found is such a document as afore- said, to seize and detain those drugs or documents as the case may be.
(10)-(a) If any person subject to this Order attempts to commit an offence against the provisions of this Article or solicits or incites another person to commit such an offence, he shall be liable on conviction to the same punishment and forfeiture as if he had com- mitted an offence under the regulations.
(b) If any person subject to this Order (i) acts in contraven- tion of or fails to comply with the conditions of any licence issued in pursuance of the provisions of this Article; or (ii) for the purpose of obtaining, whether for himself or for any other person, the issue, grant, or renewal of any such licence makes any declaration or statement which is false in any particular, or knowingly utters or produces or makes use of any such declaration or statement; or (iii) within the said limits aids, abets, counsels, or procures the commis- sion in any place outside the said limits of any offence punishable under the provisions of any corresponding law in force in that place or does any act preparatory to or in furtherance of any act which if committed within the said limits would con- stitute an offence against the provisions of this Article; he shall be guilty of an offence against the provisions of this Article.
(11)(a) If any person subject to this Order within the said limits aids, abets, counsels or procures the com- mission in any place outside the said limits of any offence punishable under the provisions of any law in force in such place and providing for the control or regulation of the manufacture, sale, use, export and import of opium or dangerous drugs in accordance with the provisions of the International Opium Con- vention signed at The Hague on the 23rd day of January, 1912, or of the International Opium Con- vention signed at Geneva on the 19th day of Febru- ary, 1925, or of any other International Convention
