With reference to our letter of the 29th May, 1931,
regarding the securities deposited with us on account of
the note issue of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking
Corporation in Hong Kong and the Straits Settlements,
I have the honour to report, for the information of the
Secretary of State, that we have released £50,000
India 51% Bonds 1932 to the Bank and have received in
exchange £50,000 India 51% Bonds 1936/1938.
