The school thus has an exceptionally wide sphere of influence and is in a very important position as a "feeder" to the University of Hong Kong and to Universities in the British Isles.

Old Boys fill important positions, not only in Hong Kong, on the executive and legislative Councils, in the Professions, in Business, etc. but also all over China, in Japan, in Formosa, the Philippines, the Straits Settlements and in all parts of the world.

The importance of a British School in the Far Eastern Crown Colony of Hong Kong, where there are more European and American persons engaged in Religious and Educational work than there are British persons, is stressed.
