I would add for Your Lordship's information that as the Plague hospital has not been necessary for many years, the Chinese Public Dispensaries Committee have instituted, with Government's approval, a Chinese Public Matemity
Hospital on the site, and I am satisfied that its excellent
work fully deserves the Government assistance afforded.
