about Hong Kong Currency it has been made an
objection to the introduction of the gold
standard that a large part of Hong Kong's trade is that of an entrepot between one part of
China and another. As we have now detailed
Trade statistics, it is possible to make an
estimate of the amount of this trade and I
attach a note on the subject.
