by the Chief of the Local Government in the interest of public peace

VIII. The employer shall provide, during medical treatment of the
labourer outside his home, free of cost, food to the labourer's family. IX. In case of the death of the labourer, the employer shall provide at
his (employer's) expense for the proper burial of the deceased. X.1. At the expiration of this labour-contract, the employer shall
provide at his expense, for the repatriation of the labourer and his family, or in case of death of the labourer for the repatriation of his family by the first possible opportunity to the place of his origin, unless the labourer prefers to stay in the Residency and he answers the requirements of the regulations governing the admittance and residency, in as much as these regulations may apply to him. 2. The employer is equally bound to this, in case the labourer, after
completion of his work-agreement, could not at once undertake the return voyage on account of illness or any other cause beyond the labourer's control, when he applies for it without delay after the said hindrances do no longer exist.
3. If the labourer and his family do not avail themselves immediately
of the opportunity for repatriation, as mentioned in the above two paragraphs, the employer, by timely request of the labourer, will still be liable for his repatriation within 3 months after the expiration of the last work-agreement, or after the cause of hindrance
thereto has been removed.
