With reference to your minute of the
15th of August regarding the revision of salaries
throughout the Hong Kong Service, and the
consequent revision of engagement agreements, we
the
return herewith,/copy of the Hong Kong Police
agreement corrected by you, and shall be glad to
know whether you approve of the further amendments
which we have made on page I (paragraphs 2 and 3)
You will observe that provision is now made therein
for the refund of the cost of railway fare and
passage out, and of the bounty, in the event of
dismissal.
