The Colonial Office
has received from the Officer
Administering the Government of
Hong Kong a despatch putting
forward, for the consideration of
the Secretary of State, a scheme
for the re-organisation and improve
ment of the Victoria-Kowloon
cross-harbour ferry services.
There are at present
two ferry systems:-
I.(a)
The "Star" Ferry,

exceptionally well run, profitable
and extremely busy. (Nearly
