Superintendent of Imports and Exports or
Head of the Sanitary Department.
Assistant Director of Public Works (Hong Kong)
and one representative from the Military
Authorities.
Their duties would be:-
(1) To ascertain annually from the Hong Kong
Government (by means of the Circular,

already referred to) the numbers of ex-
soldiers for whom employment will be found
during the year.
To obtain the names and details including
qualifications, of all candidates available,
through the Army representative.
To examine all candidates and pass them on
(if suitable) to the Heads of the Departments
concerned, with their recommendation, copy
of which would also be sent to the Colonial
Secretary for the information of the Governor
(4) To transact any other business connected
with the employment by the Hong Kong
Government of local ex-service and time
expired men.
