Cur submissions fall under the following heads:

I. The effect of the recommendations of the

Salaries Commission in view of the

subsequent fall of the dollar.

II. The increase in the number of Government

officers and in the total cost of salaries

since 1921, in relation to the general

development of the Colony during that

period.

III. The favourable conditions of service

already enjoyed by Government officers,

compared with the conditions of private

employment.

IV. Some general considerations and conclusions.
