Dear Grieve,

I have received your letter of the 3rd Nove: ber

ocnoeming the transmision of traffic from Hong Kong

to Great Britain by wireless to the itch East

Indios and the noe by wireless to Holland.

1 think the Hong Kong Administration ought not

to adopt this route, even though it gives thoir wireless service a little revenue. The lose to the

Communications Company is of course very much

greater than the Hong kong Administration'e gain.

I understand that the Administration is at present

negotiating with the Communication. Company for th transfer of its wireless services, and poseibly it is pervises at trying to extend the use of its vi relea

the moment as a lever to get better terms from the

Company.

I think to Colonial office might well

to lograph to the Governor of Hong Kong stating that

a complaint has been made by the Company and suggesting

that/
