by the Hong Kong Government are

as follows:-

(a) Acquisition must be by

Imperial and International

Communications Limited, themselves,

and not by any branch or subsidiary

Company, and the Colony must be

included within the scope of

Imperial Communications Advisory

Committee instituted by the

agreement of the 29th May, 1929.

If it is so desired, negotiations

will be conducted with Mr.

Richards, but it must be

understood that he has full

power to act for and does

act for the main Company, and

not merely for Marconi's Wireless

Telegraph Company, whose representative

he claims to be, still less

for the Chinese National Telegraph

Company.
