BY VIRTUE OF POWERS vested in me, I, SIR WILLIAM
PIEL, Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander- in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies and Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these presents appoint you ANTONIO FERREIRA GATALIA SILVA-NETTO provisionally, and subject to ilis Majesty's pleasure, to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council in the place of the ilonourable Mr. Jose Fedro Braga who is temporarily absent from the Colony.
