With reference to previous correspondence
on the subject of the appointment of a Superint-
endent of the Chinese Telegraph uffice in Hong
Kong terminating with Your Excellency's No te
No. 93 (17/7. F.)of the 4th September, 1930,
have the honour to inform you that Mr.
Kuo ch'eng assumed this post on the 1st of Sept-
ember, 1930, in succession to mr. S. L. Kong.
2. The transfer took place in the normal course
and without incident.
