it is probable that such
children would be regarded as having
lost Chinese nationality under
the Chinese Nationality Law, but the
position is not entirely clear
and His Majesty's Minister has been
requested in a telegram of 28th
March, of which a copy is enclosed,
to obtain further information as to
the effect of the Law.

British Malaya of the proposed
arrangements dealing with the
treatment of transient visitors to
China.
