(4) The treatment of the children of
denationalised Chinese born before
but under age at the time of
denationalisation.

As regards (1) it has been
agreed that it is desirable that
British protected persons of
Chinese race should be treated in
the same way as British subjects of
Chinese race and it is proposed
to instruct H.M. Minister in China
to endeavour to secure the consent
of the Chinese Government to the
application to British protected
persons of the arrangement which it
is proposed to negotiate as regards
the protection in China of British
subjects of Chinese race.
